Bourn's twilight market and Cambourne's fair are on 27 November, with Santa at Cambourne the next day. The council's big market is undated: last year, 7 Dec.

South Cambridgeshire has no town centre Christmas market, but it has a busy fortnight of village ones, and the first dates are already fixed. Cambourne has two on consecutive days at the end of November. The biggest of the lot, the district council’s indoor market of around 100 stalls, has not yet been dated for 2026.

Sources: Cambourne Town Council and Visit South Cambs, South Cambridgeshire District Council’s what’s-on listing, checked 25 September and again on 3 October 2026.

Updated 3 October: two new markets listed, Horseheath on Sunday 15 November and an evening market at Bourn on Friday 27 November. The district council’s 2026 indoor market is still undated, and its old Christmas market web page now returns “page not found”.

Cambourne’s two days

The Christmas Fair on Friday 27 November is at Manor House, Cambourne, CB23 6DH, from 3pm to 7pm; the listing points to the Wildlife Trust BCN’s events page. Entry is free and the town council’s listing names jewellery, ceramics, woodwork and artisan soap among the stalls. (Cambourne Town Council)

The Christmas Market on Saturday 28 November is at the Hub Community Centre on the High Street, from 11am to 4pm, with pottery, cards, jewellery, knitted goods and festive food. The town council is also running a Santa meet and greet there, sponsored by Bowdens Estate Agents:

  • £10 per child, which includes a small gift and 20 minutes with Santa
  • group sessions of up to 15 children
  • slots from noon until 5:30pm, and they must be booked through the town council’s online shop

The council’s indoor market: last year’s pattern

South Cambridgeshire District Council runs the district’s largest Christmas market, and in 2025 it held its fourth. It took place on Sunday 7 December 2025, from 11am to 3pm, at Cambourne Village College, filling three halls with more than 100 traders, with food vendors outside. Entry was free. The council announced it on 12 November and afterwards put attendance at around 2,000 people. (South Cambridgeshire District Council, 12 November 2025, 10 December 2025)

Last year’s parking arrangements are worth knowing if it returns to the same site: park in the college car parks, not on Sheepfold Lane, follow the one-way system in from Sheepfold Lane and out via Royce Street, and there is a bike lock-up at the college.

What it means for you: an early December Sunday is the likely slot, but the council has not said. The 2025 announcement came on 12 November, so expect the 2026 date by mid November at the latest.

  • Village Christmas fairs and tree lightings that parishes and schools fix in October and November. This page will be updated as they are published.
